Borrow on line
One of the frustrations of discovering Borrow is that in the UK at least, almost all his works, except for Wild Wales, are out of print. Copies can be acquired in second-hand bookshops but it is important to note also that virtually the whole of Borrow’s published works are now available through the Gutenberg project (http://www.gutenberg.org). The website is user-friendly and free of charge. You can download the entire text of one or more of his books and of course searching is easy (try finding how many times Borrow mentions Cromwell in Wild Wales, for instance, or how often he met Benedict Mol in The Bible in Spain!).
