The George Borrow Bulletin

The George Borrow Bulletin was established in 1991 and is published twice-yearly (ISSN 0962-9390), aiming to present critical articles and original research on Borrows life and work, and his circle. It also provides an opportunity for members to keep in touch with relevant events, news items, books and other publications. Its regular Notes and Queries section enables readers both to offer short notes on points of interest without extending to a full length article, and to raise queries about Borrow which often, frustratingly, attract no answers (though we do know what Borrow meant by ‘matthew mattocks’!). Ann Ridler has been Editor of the Bulletin since 1991.
